THOMPSON, Man. — Premier Wab Kinew announced a partnership with Northern First Nations to establish 50 dedicated nursing and healthcare aide training placements in Thompson.

"Healthcare in northern communities must be delivered by professionals who understand local realities and culture," Kinew said.
Clinical Retention
Graduates will receive full tuition coverage in exchange for a five-year commitment to northern nursing stations.
